Halloween Events in the Bay: Reasons October is the Greatest Month


Happy October everyone! The first week of our favorite month has been packed with awesome new movie releases, theatrical releases, and limited screenings, and I'm sure we're in store for a lot more of that as the number of days till Halloween melt away. But what about the other cool programming that this month brings? Here are some of the events in the bay are that we're looking forward to.

ScreamGate Haunted House in San Francisco is a harrowing Halloween haunted house experience. Begin your journey through ScreamGate with Zombies snapping at you through each twist and turn. One more close call....too close, don't get bit or you will be one of them and never leave ScreamGate.

Opening tomorrow, October 6th, and running Wednesday through Sunday and on Halloween day!

Come join us for the second annual pop-up beer garden at the Cohen Bray House. Enjoy a cold beverage, local eats, games and more under the 130 year old elm trees.
Admission to the garden is free, tours of the house for a sliding scale suggested donation of $5-15

Silver Bullets at Yerba Buena Theatre

Popular culture has overdosed with vampires and zombies, but werewolves rarely get the props they deserve. One of the most ancient mythical creatures, werewolves have been fabled and dreaded monsters in numerous cultures throughout the world for centuries. This all-day series puts werewolves in the spotlight where they belong.

The lineup includes Teen Wolf, The Wolf Man, Ginger Snaps, and Wolf Cop.
Starts October 29th at 1 pm
